			<description>&lt;p&gt;Hey Guys...&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;   Here is a quick little reciepe that  I got from Shawn Monsen's wife Melissa...   They are a great little pick me up when you need one on the mountain. They don't require any special storage.  It doesn't matter if they get mashed.  The are not &lt;b&gt;&lt;i&gt;that bad&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/b&gt; for you and best of all they taste great and are less filling...  &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;But it is approximately:&lt;br/&gt;&lt;/p&gt;3 cups powdered milk1/2 cup ground flax seed1/2 cup ground wheat germ1 cup old fashioned oats1-1 1/2 cups peanut butter1-1 1/2 cups honey&lt;p&gt;I just kinda add more peanut butter and honey if it is too dry and to your liking. You just want it it be moist enough that you can roll it into balls. 			<description>&lt;p&gt;Back around Thanksgiving 2007, Anthony and I shared our favorite recipes on the show.&amp;nbsp; I may not have given all the details, and a few of you asked me to post my &amp;quot;wine&amp;quot; recipe for cooking venison in a crockpot.&amp;nbsp; Ask, and ye shall receive.....if you have some of your own recipes you&amp;#39;d like to post - put them in the comments of this blog entry!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;1lb + elk/deer/buffalo/antelope cut into bit size pieces&lt;br /&gt;1/4 cup olive oil&lt;br /&gt;2 bayleaves&lt;br /&gt;1 garlic bulb each clove peeled of skin but kept whole&lt;br /&gt;bag of pearl onions peeled and kept whole&lt;br /&gt;bottle of dry red wine&lt;br /&gt;small can of tomato paste&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Combine all ingredients in slowcooker and pour enough wine in to cover everything. Cook over high heat for 3-4 hours til meat begins to pull apart.
