My Introduction Blog Entry - Dave

Hello Everybody in Bowcast land.
How about a little about myself. I am 16 yrs old I live in sw Colorado. I will be a junior in high school this year. I don’t have to go very far to go bow hunting just out my back door for mule deer. We have some good bucks in our area. I have been hunting for 5 years and I started bowhunting in 2006.
I have killed a bull elk with my bow so far. The reasons why I wanted to write for bowcast is to help young archers and give people a different point of view. I have a lot to learn in the years to come. My personal favorite species to hunt is the mule deer because it is a blast trying to out smart the gray ghost. My plans for the future are to keep writing for bowcast and I would like to guide the eastern plains of colorado for the huge mule deer and whitetail that roam the plains.

I have had the fortune to hang with David as we were rolling with the idea for the BowCast Edge blog. Dave, first off welcome to the BowCast team! I am looking forward to reading your entries, and I know from the pictures you have shared with me on some of the "homework" and "scouting" you have been doing, that the BowCast community is going to be more than impressed. Thanks for joining us, and thanks for reminding me that scouting is by far the most critical element to getting in front of a trophy deer. Can't wait to read more!

Sounds good man, cant wait to really get the ball rollin' with BowCast Edge!
Seasons going to get rollin' pretty quick, should be awesome, best of luck to you out there in Colorado bud!

Welcome buddy, Can't wait to read your blog, You are young with limited responsibility and I wish for the life of me I could go back 12-15 years and just play sports and hunt. Its awesome to see you enjoying the wilderness and you are fortunate to be a such a wonderful state. Good luck in the field bro!
