Perspective -

  • The ability to perceive things in their actual interrelations or comparative importance: tried to keep my perspective throughout the crisis.

If you guys have been tracking some of the events that have been going on in my life over on Facebook you will have noticed that I haven’t really had a chance to hunt like I would like to, but in the in grand scheme of life it is no big deal.  I am just glad my mom is doing better and that she is going in the right direction.

Winter's Lessons - Part 1 - Hands

When it comes to late season bowhunting, you want to be as prepared as possible. With there being four seasons throughout most bow seasons there are endless deterrents that could allow for that shot of a life time to be a miss of a life time.  This is an aspect of bowhunting often overlooked. You never really hear about the sub zero temps some hunter's experience. Trust me, coming from the Northern Plains where the temperatures in October, November, and December often dip below 32( not including wind chill) degrees, things get a bit nippy.  I've actually had my eye lashes freeze to my bino lens (not cool).
