Podcast Description On this week's episode the topic of discussion is what goes into making a home bow shop. To be certain, we all don't have the budget, the know how, or the space to open up an archery tech shop in our garage. But if you are looking for some of the key tools and equipment that would allow you to work on and tinker with your bow right at your own house, then you definitely want to tune in to this episode. Working on your own bow not only will save you time and money, but at BowCast we are confident it will make you an overall better archery hunter. Aneal is joined by BowCaster Jason Amaro from New Mexico. Jason is on the BowCast team and provides you all with the "BowCast Everyday Blog". Jason is a wealth of archery hunting information - he reviews products, blogs about his own hunting and scouting adventures, and spends a great deal of time providing his input on many of the BowCast forum questions that you all post. Jason makes his debut on the show this week, and we hope he'll come back MANY MANY more times to share his knowledge and expertise. Listen in on what equipment Jason has in his bow shop, and what he and Aneal feel are the priorities to start working on your bow at home. Podcast Description As a whitetail hunter, what do you do in June to prepare for a successful whitetail season? Are you: 1) Hanging Stands? 2) Shed Hunting? 3) Planting (or monitoring) food plots? 4) Shooting? We all have our own regiment of preparation (or lack thereof) throught the year. Some hang stands early, some hang stands late. Some of us get lucky with where we hang a stand, and some of us hang a stand during the summer with complete confidence the big boy will walk under it in November. On this epsidode we all have the opportunity to listen to a true professional in the whitetail game - Bill Epeards. Although Bill has hunted all over the world, his main diet and expertise is really around whitetail deer hunting. In addition, Anthony and Aneal came to know Bill by looking for someone who is shooting one of the most innovative fixed pin sight we have seen to date - the Sure-Loc QC. After making a few phonecalls, we found out that Bill has been using the Sure-Loc QC in both IBO tournaments as well as in the field. Bill breaks down exactly how he uses the new QC year round for all his different setups and scenarios in the field. You can check out Aneal's Blog entry on the Sure-Loc QC here. About Bill Epeards
Bill Epeards has been featured on various hunting videos and is a regular guest on Mossy Oak’s “Hunting the Country,” ESPN’s “Jimmy Houston Outdoors” and “Today’s Bowhunter” by PSE on the Outdoor Channel. Bill has harvested record book deer, bear, antelope and mountain lion, plus many other species such as moose, elk, caribou, mule deer, javelina, wild boar and wild turkey, all with a bow and arrow. Bill also has several turkey grand slams to his credit, and has harvested eight Safari Club International record book animals in South Africa.

On the episode, Chris talked a little bit on how he used digiscoping on recent scouting and hunting trips. The first digiscoping pic is the "chipped" Desert Ram chris talked about. The second picture is a the bigger ram Chris found on the first day of his scouting efforts, and the last picture is a completely different ram - but success is always the best picture of them all!
