Podcast Description

On this episode Aneal and Anthony are joined by South Cox, contributing field editor for Eastman's Bowhunting Journal. South is just about as "bad ass" as they come when one talks about backcountry bowhunting. South shares his expertise on hunting out of a bivouac sack as well as a review of the equipment he recommends for anyone to get started in this exciting and rewarding type of backcountry bowhunting.

South Cox Bivy Hunting in the Snow

South Cox - Overlook

Image #2 - "Thirteen miles from the trailhead, virgin country for a week. Either put up with other hunter pressure and work hard to find educated animals, or work hard to get away from other hunters and then hunt undisturbed bulls and bucks."
