Podcast Description On this episode - Aneal and Anthony have the privilege of being joined by Perry Ratcliff - owner of Archer's Advantage software. Perry's background includes working as an electical engineer for the United States Airforce and he has been a quality assurance engineer in the satellite industry for the last 27 years. Perry shares his experience as a competitive target shooter that led to the creation of Archer's Advantage back in the mid 1980's. While Archer's Advantage was designed for professional competitive shooters, Perry dedicates his time on this podcast to how the software can benefit us all as bowhunters. Calculate speed without a chronograph; Calculate initial and terminal kinetic energy based on your setup and distance shot; Determine if a particular manufacturer's arrow shaft is either too stiff or not stiff enough for your bow setup; Calculate uphill/downhill angles; Print off customized sight tapes for your sight that accounts for your entire bow setup. How do we model every aspect of the flight of an arrow that increases our accuracy both on the range, but more importantly in the field? Take a listen, and learn how. Show Notes You can get more information on Archer's Advantage software at their website: http://www.archersadvantage.com/
