Aneal and Anthony have shared quite a bit about their preference for single pin adjustable sights to maximize accuracy at western hunting type ranges. But in reality, these sights are just not the best option for a lot of folks who maybe have a more steady diet of tree stand hunting for whitetails or shorter range shots at Turkeys. So, to contribute expert content related to the pervasive multi-pin sights, Aneal is joined by Darren Collins on this episode. Darren is a professional shooter, but focuses most of his energy bow hunting big game animals. In fact, back in 2005 Darren became only the 8th individual in the world to take all 28 North American big game species with a bow. What Darren says about his choice in sights and why, is something we all should pay attention to. He will discuss how he gets both adjustability and accuracy by combining the best of both worlds (multi-pins and adjustability) with his Lethal Weapon sight by Sure-Loc.
Darren worked and consulted with Steve Gibbs (Founder of Sure-Loc sights) since all the way back in 1997. He has been on the Sure-Loc pro staff since 1997, and talks about why he has stayed with Sure-Loc sights, and why he specifically prefers multi-pin adjustable sights over a single pin. Aneal and Darren specifically review the Lethal Weapon sight from Sure-Loc and Darren shares some of the stories from his time putting down all 28 big game species in North America. This episode gives us all the rare experience to hear how a professional chooses his sight, sets it up, and actually uses it in the field.
