Podcast Description
As a whitetail hunter, what do you do in June to prepare for a successful whitetail season? Are you:
1) Hanging Stands? 2) Shed Hunting? 3) Planting (or monitoring) food plots? 4) Shooting?
We all have our own regiment of preparation (or lack thereof) throught the year. Some hang stands early, some hang stands late. Some of us get lucky with where we hang a stand, and some of us hang a stand during the summer with complete confidence the big boy will walk under it in November.
On this epsidode we all have the opportunity to listen to a true professional in the whitetail game - Bill Epeards. Although Bill has hunted all over the world, his main diet and expertise is really around whitetail deer hunting.
In addition, Anthony and Aneal came to know Bill by looking for someone who is shooting one of the most innovative fixed pin sight we have seen to date - the Sure-Loc QC. After making a few phonecalls, we found out that Bill has been using the Sure-Loc QC in both IBO tournaments as well as in the field. Bill breaks down exactly how he uses the new QC year round for all his different setups and scenarios in the field. You can check out Aneal's Blog entry on the Sure-Loc QC here.
