Hey Guys...

If you listened to this weeks podcast you will have heard that I am starting my scouting for Coues deer.  

I recently found a pocket of deer in some country that I think alot of people drive by on there way to "better" hunting spots.  This area is really thick and I am still trying to figure out a way to hunt it effectively but everytime I go in there I either see Coues deer or I find some sheds.  I setup a camera in there so hopefully I can get some pictures of deer.

Below are some pictures of some sheds, a skull and some deer.


THIS AWESOME Double Main Beam Shed:






Remember the big ones are easy to see, the little ones are a challenge.



Here is a neat little skull I found of a little spike... Poor little guy...

Here is a goofy little shed.  I think it is a Mule deer shed.



How about a pic of a mulie doe?

 

Can you see the little Coues deer doe?



Screw it... Maybe I should just hunt out of my backyard.. Look at this NICE 4x4 Mulie, he was in my backyard... and in my archery range...

Man I just hope I can get a legal buck... You just never know with Coues Deer...
